| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は、フォーカスグループインタビューにて手術室看護師が術前訪問で行っている患者擁護実践を明らかにすることである。便宜的抽出法にて研究への同意が得られた、手術室勤務経験を5 年以上有する手術看護認定看護師4名と看護師1 名の合計5 名を研究対象者とした。術前訪問で手術室看護師が行う患者擁護実践は、15 コード4 サブカテゴリーからなる【患者の意思や価値観を尊重する】と、20 コード4 サブカテゴリーからなる【患者の意思や価値観を尊重するために患者に関係する医療者を巻き込む】の2 カテゴリーに統合された。また、患者擁護実践に付随して、患者擁護を実践した看護師に向けられた反応として2 サブカテゴリーからなる【余計なことをする人だと思われる】の1 カテゴリーが得られた。本研究の結果は、看護アドボカシーに関する先行研究とほぼ同様の内容であるが、手術室看護師の具体的な実践が示された。今回の調査では患者に「力を与える」実践が抽出されなかったため、手術室看護師が術前訪問で実践しているのか探索することが今後の課題である。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify patient advocacy in nursing practice by operating room nurses on preoperative visits. A Focus group interview were conducted to collect data using a sample of four certifi ed nurses in perioperative nursing and one registered nurse who have experiences over fi ve years as a OR nurse. Results of our qualitative data analysis, two categories of characteristics of patient advocacy in nursing practice by operating room nurses on pre-operative visits were identifi ed: 1) respect for patients to make their own decisions and their values (include four subcategories and fi fteen codes), 2) involve colleagues to advocating process for respect patients to make their own decisions and their values (include four subcategories and twenty codes). Even more, a single fi nding was identifi ed: being labeled by peers as an instigator (include two subcategories). That was concluded when nurses act advocating for patients, it would seem to be against the idea of their supervisor. Although, common themes can be found in the literature that coincide with the fi ndings of this study, characteristics role of OR nurses have been found. From the data obtained, nursing advocacy as a ‘empower someone to’ does not appears. More descriptive studies are needed. | |||||||||||||
