 note = {application/pdf, 本研究の目的は、初めて精神科看護を経験した中堅看護師の困難感とレジリエンスを明らかにすることである。研究デザインは質的記述的研究である。研究協力に同意が得られた6 名の中堅看護師に半構成的インタビューを行い、得られたデータを「初めて精神科看護を経験した中堅看護師の困難感は何か」、「困難感から回復した力は何か」を分析視点として質的帰納的に分析した。その結果、2 段階の分析過程を経て、17 のカテゴリーに集約された。初めて精神科看護を経験した中堅看護師は、これまで勤務していた診療科では経験したことのない【精神症状のアセスメントの難しさ】、【フィジカルアセスメントの経験が通用しない困惑】や、【新人ではないが故のベストな対応のわかりにくさ】等の困難感を抱き、【患者と向き合えない自分への戸惑い】等を覚えながらも、【一般科で確立した看護観を強みとする自負】を持ち、【経験をもとに自分から看護チームに働きかける姿勢】等で困難感を跳ね返していることが明らかになった。, The purpose of this study was to clear on the diffi culties and resilience of mid-level nurses experiencing psychiatric nursing for the first time. The study has been designed as qualitative descriptive research. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with six mid-level nurses who had agreed to cooperate with the study and the data thus obtained subjected to qualitative analysis from the analytical perspective of “What are the diffi culties encountered by mid-level nurses working in the fi eld of psychiatric nursing for the fi rst time?” and “What is the strength needed to overcome such diffi culties?” The results were aggregated into seventeen categories through a two-stage analytical process. The outcome of analysis revealed that mid-level nurses experiencing psychiatric nursing for the fi rst time encountered diffi culties they had not experienced in the fi elds of diagnostic medicine in which they had previously been engaged, including【 diffi culties in assessing the psychiatric condition of patients】,【bewilderment resulting from the irrelevance of physical assessment】　and 【diffi culties in understanding the best approach even though they were not newcomers】 and, in spite of the fact they had experienced 【feelings of bewilderment in themselves of not being able to face patients】, they overcame such diffi culties by means such as 【their attitude of exerting infl uence on the nursing team from their own experiences】,　strengthened by 【confi dence arising from the strengths rooted in the perspectives on nursing they had established in fi elds of general medicine】},
